EVER WANTED TO BE A SPY IN THE COOLEST DECADE EVER?
Well here's your chance ...
Set in the 1960’s, and inspired by the classic spy films and TV shows of the decade, audiences will be plunged into a secret world of espionage, double-crossing MI6 agents, CIA operatives, German Assassins, Criminal Masterminds and a woman preparing for her first wedding anniversary - all of whom are trying to get their hands on 'IT'.
For even more details on the show, its characters, secret flashmobs, street art and other events taking place in the lead up to the shows, visit our various social media sites and keep up-to-date with all things #spyproject
Using your smart phone, you will be sent emails throughout the show with details on where to go, who to look out for and clues to decipher.
Once you have bought a ticket, further details will be sent to you on what to wear, where to meet and what to bring.
The show will culminate in a private club where you can purchase drinks, watch the climactic final scenes of the play and finish the evening enjoying a sixties beatnik DJ party.

Smart Phones
The Spy Project will require audiences to journey to different locations within Croydon's town centre. To do this successfully you will need to have access to a smart phone as directions and other information will be emailed to you throughout the show. Please ensure you check your Junk/Spam folders and/or save our email into your address book. Ideally you should have access to email and google maps, however we recommend you also download the following free apps: QR reader, piano/keyboard and a calculator - and please make sure your phone is fully charged!
General Public

As parts of this production takes place in a variety of public locations, it is likely to engage with members of the general public. Although they won't have access to the secret information being emailed through to ticket holders, they will be able to watch some of the scenes taking place in public areas. If you are approached by a member of the general public, be polite and honest about what you are doing there. Feel free to give them information on the show or tell them to look up #spyproject.
Personal Safety

SAVVY Theatre Company will make every effort to ensure audience members feel safe and secure during The Spy Project secret-theatre shows. A stage manager will be monitoring the event and should any audience members get lost, an emergency contact number will be provided on booking to get them back on track. However, it will be your responsibility to ensure you are aware of your surroundings. Please take care in public areas and cross roads only at designated crossing points. Do not venture into alleys or secluded side-roads (the path to each location in the play has been carefully selected and at no time requires audience members to leave main roads). Make sure your personal belongings are secure at all times (including mobile phones). We would recommend you book for this show with a partner or in a small group. By buying a ticket, you agree to be responsible for your own personal safety throughout the show.
Weather, Cancellations & Refunds

Please dress appropriately for the weather. In the event of rain, bring an umbrella. The show will only be cancelled in the event of EXTREME weather or circumstances. In the unlikely event that we will need to cancel a show, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible. It will then be your choice whether you would like to move to another date or receive a full refund. Should YOU need to cancel a booking, refunds will only be given up to one week before the show.
Access & Mobility

SAVVY Theatre Company has ensured that the route and venues used for the secret-theatre shows are as accessible as possible for those in wheelchairs however, as the first half of the show requires you to independently move through Croydon, anyone with limited mobility or other concerns has the option of buying an 'access' ticket. This ticket lets you watch the journey through Croydon via Facebook Live, while waiting for the audience to arrive at the shows final destination. These tickets are cheaper, but limited. Please email us to enquire.
